Dear Patients,
Omni Aesthetics is open! We re-opened on May 26th. We are so glad to be seeing you again and getting back to normal life, but as we all know things will be a little different for a while. The coronavirus threat is still out there and we want you to know that we are going to be one of those businesses that take the safety of our staff and customers very seriously.
Although we are a medical practice, the treatments we offer are cosmetic. We do not see sick patients so we are in a position to pretty much eliminate the risk of any infection including coronavirus infection occurring in our office. We want to make it so that coming to Omni Aesthetics will be safer than going to the grocery store!
Here are some of the measures we are taking to keep our employees and our customers safe:
All employees will receive a COVID-19 test to make sure they are not infected before coming back to work. We have an arrangement with Accurate Diagnostic Laboratories to perform antibody and PCR testing on our employees and for screening patients before surgical procedures.
When scheduling an appointment, we will be asking a series of question to make sure that you are not having symptoms of coronavirus or have had recent exposure. We understand that these questions may seem a little intrusive. If you feel uncomfortable answering these question, you can choose to decline and schedule your appointment at a later time. If you decide you would rather not have an appointment at all, we understand and respect your reasons. However, we will not be able to give you an appointment if you are unable or unwilling to answer our screening questions.
When you arrive at our office for your appointment, your temperature will be checked with a thermal scanner. If you have a fever, we will ask you to go home and call us to reschedule your appointment.
When you arrive at our office, you will need to have face covering. If you do not wish to wear face covering, we can reschedule your appointment after the global pandemic risk is over.
We will be seeing one patient at a time. If you come with a partner, the person not being treated will need to wait in the car and we will text or call you when we are ready for you. You will not be able to bring your children to your appointment.
As you enter our office, we will spray your hands with an alcohol spray or we can give you a pair of latex free gloves to cover your hands.
We will be limiting the number of staff and patients in the office so that there is absolute minimal contact with other people. We have multiple waiting areas and treatment rooms. We have three separate entrances and exits to maximize social distancing.
All of our staff have been extensively trained on continuously wiping down every surface that has human contact after every exposure. We will do a complete disinfection at the end of every work day of all rooms and areas where human contact has occurred.
In addition to surface cleaning, we will use an ultraviolet light to disinfect the air in patient rooms in between patients. We have installed exhaust fans in patient rooms to eliminate stagnant air in treatment areas. A HEPA filter has been placed in the reception area to keep the air circulating.
All staff will be wearing face covering and when possible, separated from you by at least 6 feet of distance or a plexiglass partition. We have plenty of space so that you should not be encountering other patients during your visit.
Our policies can change as we learn more about how this virus spreads. We understand that not everyone agrees with the very strict measures we are taking to protect ourselves and our customers. We are not trying to step on anyone's rights or freedom. Please understand that we are doing this because protecting our people makes the best sense for our business. For the majority of our customers who share my concerns about putting safety first, we are really looking forward to seeing you. For those of you choosing to go elsewhere to more freely exercise your rights, we do respect your decision and hope that you will come back to us when the public health threat is over. Please stay safe and God bless you and your family!
Sincerely, Dr. Song
