Low Level Laser and LED treatments
It sounds like science fiction, but there are now several studies that show clinical proof that low level laser and LED light at certain wave lengths can stimulate hair growth. This treatment requires some discipline because it requires coming in to the office three times per week for six weeks then once a week for another 16 weeks with periodic maintenance treatments after that. For those who would prefer to do it at home, we have a take home device that can double as a skin rejuvenation mask. There is virtually no known risk other than possible eye damage if you stare into the light too long.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP is a quick in-office procedure that takes the growth factors from the platelets that are in your blood and concentrates them into the hair follicles. These growth factors stimulate the stem cells around the weak hair follicles to start growing hair again. RPP will not work for men who have total hair loss with no follicles to regenerate, but it is a great treatment for men and women who are experiencing rapidly thinning hair. There are many different ways to prepare the PRP. We use a protocol that can concentrate up to 24 times the concentration of platelets whereas most clinics offering PRP use only a 2x concentration. We can even combine PRP therapy with other effective treatments to get more significant and consistent results.
High Definition Hair Transplantation
Follicular Unit Extraction or FUE has revolutionized the way we perform hair transplantation. FUE is currently the gold standard for hair replacement. Gone are the days when strips of scalp had to be surgically removed to harvest plugs of hair. We can now harvest individual units of hair containing one to four hair follicles leaving only tiny holes that heal up rapidly without leaving a visible scar. The units of hair follicles can then be harvested from areas of dense hair growth like the back of the head and implanted where there is significant hair loss like on the crown and hair line. The results are very natural looking and can be permanent. At Omni aesthetics, the procedure is performed under high definition visualization so that the harvesting and implantation is very precise. For the right candidate, this is the definitive treatment for long term results.
Regenerative Hair Therapy
The young lady below had developed alopecia totalis with loss of almost all of the hair on her head. She had received all the conventional medical therapies including corticosteroids and immunosuppressive drugs. Her condition did not improve after several years of frustration she was referred to us by her esthetician because she wanted to try "stem cells."
Stem cells teatments are very controversial because the FDA still considers these as either "experimental" or they want to classify it as a drug, in which case they cannot be harvested in an office setting.
